At the March Committee meeting, several key initiatives were agreed to as we continue improving the Club for our members and community.

The Committee has voted to proceed with updated plans for the playground project. Gary Holburn will be leading this, working on revised designs and costings to bring back for submission.

We’re also calling on our community to get involved in a Busy Bee on Sunday 3rd May at 1pm. This will be led by Sue Rudd, so if you’re keen to lend a hand, please reach out to her directly — many hands make light work.

The Committee has also approved the installation of a brand new VLT machine, which will contribute to strengthening the Club’s revenue streams.

In addition, early-stage discussions are underway to explore improvements to the back entrance, beer garden and kitchen area, with a focus on creating a more visually appealing and welcoming space for our members.
